I’ve recently moved to Adairsville Ga, I have a large(12ft) antenna. I live in a heavily wooded area. I can only pick up channels 3.1, 3.2,9.1, 9.2, 12.1, 14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 18.1, 18.2, 18.3, 45.1, 45.2, 45.3,53.1, 53.2. I can’t receive ABC, NBC, CBS & FOX. Any suggestions?
Jody:
Being 60 miles outside of Atlanta, you will definitely need a big antenna to receive the channels that are broadcasting from Atlanta (or other big city).
You should go to the following website, and enter your zip code to determine which broadcasters are close to your location:
http://www.antennaweb.org
For example, if you want to pick up ABC, CBS, or NBC you could try and point your antenna towards CHATTANOOGA, TN, which is 342 degrees on a compass, which is 59.1 miles away.
