These treasure chests and barrels are from Dutch Mogul’s Loot Markers pack, Thingiverse number 2010492.

They both printed very well on my low end FDM printer. I primed the barrel with flat black spray paint, and upgraded to an oil rubbed bronze and brushed nickel metallic spray paint for the two chests.

By leaving the primer coat unpainted, you can get away with only a single color (brown).

Plus a black wash over the brown to bring out some of the 3D printing layers to look like wood grain, and a few detail items (keyhole or rivets on the barrel) make them incredibly quick to paint.
